01 The Short Version

I'm Jonathan, founder of Real Human Media. I've spent over a decade making content professionally — feature film releases with Sony AFFIRM, brand activations for AT&T and Goodyear — and the lesson that stuck is simple: people buy from people they trust, whether it's a movie ticket or a new driveway.

I live in Spring with my wife and kids, and I work with Houston-area businesses I can shake hands with.

02 Why It Exists

I kept watching good businesses lose to worse ones.

For years I made polished content for big brands. It was great work. But I noticed the businesses that actually won trust weren't the ones with the slickest production — they were the ones who felt real. The spokesperson-and-slogan approach that big budgets buy was the exact thing making people tune out.

So in 2019 I started Real Human Media on one conviction: the most effective content shows real people being themselves. Not a polished version of you. Not a template. You. I started it before AI flooded the internet with generic everything — which only made the case stronger. When anyone can generate a fake, the real thing is the advantage.

03 How I Work

Brand-level craft, without the agency machine.

A decade in professional production means I bring the standard national brands expect. Being one person who actually does the work means you get that standard without the layers — the markups, the handoffs, the account manager translating your notes to someone who's never spoken to you. I only use AI where it belongs, on the busywork, so the time and attention go where they matter: making sure what your customers see is actually you.

There's a limit to how many businesses I take on at once, on purpose. That's how the quality stays where it is.
